The Gulf Information Technology Exhibition (GITEX), the leading trade fair dedicated to information and communication technologies in the United Arab Emirates, is taking place in Dubai from the 10th to the 14th of October.
ALBA Robot is excited to be present at GITEX 2022, introducing its two new models of autonomous vehicles, designed for indoor spaces and pedestrian areas, that integrate the most advanced technologies with a modern design built with sustainable materials.
During the last year, the need to find an alternative to the manual push for the indoor transportation of people clearly emerged. With our micro mobility platforms we aim at transforming the indoor transportation of PRM (People with Reduced Mobility) within facilities such as hospitals and airports.
The technologies of AI, autonomous driving and loT - already integrated in our past vehicles - have been further developed and "dressed" with style. The new model of SEDIA has been realized in co-branding with Italdesign and represents the excellence of the Italian design applied to a new mobility.
Functionality, linearity and balance characterize the model, making it aesthetically captivating and providing at the same time the highest comfort and a high level of usability.
Our latest projects represent an encounter between technology, design and materials.
This vehicle, designed for smaller indoor spaces, aims at providing alternatives with assisted or autonomous driving technologies to improve the transportation of PRM (People with Reduced Mobility) enhancing their autonomy.
All this in the continuous search of performing and sustainable materials, thanks to a collaboration with Politecnico di Torino for the study and development of new technologies and innovative materials.
“We are proud to have been invited once again by Etisalat to GITEX 2022. This participation allows us to cultivate and expand our network to stimulate our innovation capability”, says Andrea Bertaia, CEO and Co-founder of ALBA Robot.
“In this edition we presented our two new projects, conceived to facilitate the indoor transportation of PRM (People with Reduced Mobility). Technology finally encounters design: as much as our first goal is to offer innovative solutions, we also believe that personal mobility vehicles should be aesthetically attractive”.
We want to thank e& (formerly Etisalat Digital) for giving us this amazing opportunity and all of our partners for their support in this journey.
