ALBA Robot closes a €4.985 million round to accelerate the autonomous mobility business in pedestrian areas

It is with great satisfaction that we announce the closing of a €4.985 million investment round, led by CDP Venture Capital SGR with the support of Next Investments and Enthofin.

This milestone marks a new chapter for ALBA Robot, accelerating our growth and consolidating our position as a key player in autonomous mobility for pedestrian areas. The new funding will support our evolution from a technology platform to a mobility provider, expanding our services for the autonomous movement of people, goods and data.

Over the past 18 months, we’ve completed 11 paid pilot projects in some of the world’s major international airports and we've strengthened our presence in the United States. Now, we will be able to extend testing to new facilities and use cases, including outdoor environments.

As our CEO Andrea Bertaia said, our goal is “to become the ‘Waymo of pedestrian areas’”.
